Friday, May 16, 2025 – Trailblazing electronic music pioneers Deep Dish—Ali “Dubfire” Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi—are proud to unveil their first brand-new single in over a decade. Their new single, ‘Midnight’, created alongside UK-based melodic trio Eynka and acclaimed American singer-songwriter Wrabel, signals the duo’s refreshed sonic direction: a seamless fusion of their progressive roots with elements of melodic house and techno. The track is out now via Armada Music.
“Since reuniting in 2024, we’ve been deep in the studio crafting music to test at shows and guide the evolution of Deep Dish,” Deep Dish shares. “The reaction to Midnight during our sets has been incredible, and now feels like the right time to share it with the world. This one’s for the fans who’ve embraced this exciting new chapter—and there’s more to come this year.”
With its haunting synths, emotive piano melodies, and Wrabel’s immersive vocal performance, ‘Midnight’ showcases Deep Dish’s cinematic sensibilities and collaborative depth. The production, shaped with Eynka’s melodic finesse, pushes their sound into a more modern and expansive realm—while still honoring the sonic foundation that made them legendary.
The release marks the culmination of a year-long comeback, teased through the aptly titled Deep Dish Presents: The Future tour across North America and Europe. Standout highlights included a sold-out winter residency at The Cause in London (their first London shows in over a decade), a headline set at Club Space in Miami for the venue’s 25th anniversary, and, most recently, an all-night-long performance at London’s iconic fabric.
In 2024, Deep Dish partnered with independent dance music label Armada Music to re-release their landmark album George Is On—making it available for streaming and download for the first time in years—and to unveil reimagined versions of their early 2000s hits ‘Flashdance’ and ‘Say Hello’.
“This track marks the beginning of a brand-new chapter,” Deep Dish affirms. “It feels incredible to be back.”

It’s hard to believe, but the Grammy-winning Washington D.C. duo Deep Dish are now three decades into their storied production career.
Their seminal debut album Junk Science home to classics like ‘Stay Gold’ and the Everything But The Girl collaboration ‘The Future of the Future’ has long been a staple on streaming platforms. But in summer 2024, their chart-topping second album ‘George Is On’ finally made its long-awaited digital debut. Thanks to a new partnership with Armada Music, fan favourites like ‘Say Hello’, ‘Dreams’ and ‘Flashdance’, along with remixes by Steve Angello, Paul Van Dyk, David Guetta and more, are now available on all major streaming and download services for the first time. And that was only the beginning…
Spring 2025 marks a bold new era for Deep Dish as they release their first original music in over a decade. ‘Midnight’, the lead single from a forthcoming series, signals a return not just to form, but to forward motion - new music, fresh collaborators, evolving styles, and a revitalized tour schedule. This next phase isn’t just a reunion, it’s a reinvention. With eyes on the future and roots planted firmly in their legacy, Deep Dish are ready to write the next chapter in their ongoing journey through sound. Exciting times lie ahead.
