Friday, August 30, 2024 - Following the success of her debut album ‘TWINSOUL’ earlier this year, Yulia Niko is now unveiling a deluxe edition of the project. Building upon themes of authenticity, collaboration and experimentation, ‘TWINSOUL (Deluxe)’ offers a fresh perspective on Yulia’s deeply personal body of work as she continues her artistic journey.
“The album release was a dream come true,” says Yulia Niko. “I’m thrilled with how it turned out and incredibly grateful for the positive feedback so far. This whole experience has been a blessing. While I’m not sure what’s next, I’m proud that this album has already resonated with so many, and I’m pleased to share this deluxe edition alongside my close collaborators.”
At the helm of the project is German duo Monkey Safari’s remix of ‘Come Too Far’, whose Afro house rendition pushes the track forward with subtle grooves, lingering piano tones and rhythmic synth patterns. The deluxe album also features remixes of ‘Fire In My Soul’ by John Digweed & Nick Muir and ‘Higher’ by Emanuel Satie, and has earned support from scene leaders like Chris Lake, Claptone, Damian Lazarus, Eli & Fur, Joris Voorn and more.
“Monkey Safari’s remix of ‘Come Too Far’ is really making waves; it perfectly captures what I’m loving in the scene right now. I've been using it as the intro track in my DJ sets, and it consistently creates an unforgettable atmosphere on the dancefloor,” adds Yulia.
Since the release of ‘TWINSOUL’, Yulia has embarked on a global tour, playing at renowned venues and festivals including New York City’s Superior Ingredients, Ritter Butzke in Berlin, and California’s Lightning in a Bottle Festival, and Horse Park Festival in Zurich. Upcoming shows include Ibiza’s Club Chinois with Franky Wah, Artche and Sasha, and Gorgon City’s Enter the Realm in London alongside Marsh, Cristoph, Riordan and more.
