Friday, October 17, 2025 – Layton Giordani returns with the second release on his newly-launched label MADMINDS: ‘Call You Back’, a collaboration with sought after Italian producer GENESI and London-hailing vocalist Be No Rain. The gritty, intoxicating tech house cut has been taking the scene by storm, already backed by heavy hitters including John Summit, Adam Beyer, MEDUZA, Adam Sellouk and more.
Tantalizing, suspenseful, and irresistibly explosive, infused with a hint of nostalgia, ‘Call You Back’ hooks listeners from the start with its hypnotic vocals and a bassline built to move dance floors. A proven crowd favorite, the track has been a standout moment in both Layton’s and GENESI’s sets all summer long across the globe, from UNVRS and Hï Ibiza to Brooklyn Storehouse in New York and Córdoba’s La Estación.
“'Call You Back’ was originally born in a studio session with Be No Rain on vocals, and when Layton jumped in, he brought this raw edge that pushed the track into darker, tougher territory. It carries that underground, driving energy that I love, but still holds a melodic depth that connects on the dancefloor,” says GENESI. “Layton has been a huge supporter of my journey, so releasing this as the second track on his new MADMINDS label feels special. To see it already getting love from him, Adam Beyer, John Summit and so many others in the scene makes it even more powerful.”
“In the studio GENESI really pushed me to do something new for my voice, something outside of my comfort zone. It was liberating, and I felt free to write lyrics that matched the vocal character we’d found,” says Be No Rain. “I was completely blown away when I heard the finished production that Layton Giordani & GENESI had sculpted. It’s such an honour to work with two of the most exciting producers in the game."
"I’m a big believer in working with artists that are up next and bringing something new to our scene, and GENESI is one of them. We’ve been friends for a while and always knew a collab would eventually come,” adds Layton Giordani. “‘Call You Back’ is the perfect example of a record that blurs genres and puts you in a transfixed state of mind. It feels fresh, exciting, and so original. I’m excited to introduce him and this track to MADMINDS."

Layton Giordani continues to reign as a trailblazer and now label boss of MADMINDS, solidifying his presence at the forefront of the global house and techno scene.
A New York native, Giordani’s journey into electronic music began in his teens, inspired by the legendary sets of Danny Tenaglia at Pacha NY. This profound experience drove him to pursue a career behind the decks, eventually earning a pivotal residency at Output NY in Brooklyn. There, his talent flourished, catching the attention of key figures in the techno world.
Giordani’s big break came under the mentorship of Adam Beyer, the techno heavyweight behind Drumcode. With Beyer’s support, his debut Unspoken EP on Truesoul, followed quickly by Rivington on Drumcode, marked his arrival as a rising force in the scene. His 2017 debut album Where It Begins earned widespread acclaim, cementing his status as a significant player. The years that followed were marked by monumental collaborations and career-defining hits, including Live Again with Danny Tenaglia and Space Date with Adam Beyer and Green Velvet—an anthem now boasting more than 19 million Spotify streams. His 2020 sophomore album New Generation pushed boundaries further, blending diverse influences and expanding his sonic identity.
Giordani’s versatility has continued to shine through releases such as his Hyperworld EP, his high-energy collaboration Rabbit Hole with HI-LO, and a powerful rework of Voicemail alongside Green Velvet and Patrick Topping. Each project demonstrated his ability to reshape and reimagine tracks for a new era of dance music.
In 2024, Giordani unleashed 10 massive releases, including his remix of Anyma’s Last Night—which soared to #1 on Beatport and peaked at over 100,000 daily Spotify streams. Other highlights included PATT (Party All The Time) with Adam Beyer and Green Velvet, his debut on Experts Only with Paranoid, a remix of Dom Dolla’s girl$, and his first official remix of deadmau5’s legendary Strobe.
Entering 2025, Giordani has cemented himself as one of the most influential names in house and techno. He stormed into the year with Act of God (nearing 3M streams), followed by a monster remix of John Summit’s Focus, and At Night with Anyma, which crossed the 3M mark within two months of release. His music continues to dominate airwaves with consistent global radio support from Pete Tong (BBC Radio 1), MistaJam (Capital/KISS), and Diplo’s Revolution on SiriusXM.
Fresh off a series of sold-out shows and high-profile festival plays, Giordani has recently headlined in New York City and Space Miami, taken over the Yuma Tent at Coachella, and delivered closing sets at EDC Las Vegas—further solidifying his reputation as a powerhouse at the cutting edge of electronic music.

GENESI is a name undoubtedly on everyone's lips, from ravers, to DJs at the top of the scene. GENESI stands at the crossroads of melodic house, techno, and underground club culture crafting a sound that’s both distinctive and unpredictable. In just a few years, the Italian native has become one of the dance music's fastest-rising names, blending his signature sonic and groove with heavyweight dancefloor moments that cut through globally.
After storming onto the scene with his debut “Everything You Have Done”, now closing in on 100 million cumulative streams, reaching #1 on Beatport, and earning support from the world’s most influential tastemakers and touring DJs, GENESI has continued to evolve and solidify his position.
2025 has been a defining year. He delivered two standout releases on Diynamic: the explosive ‘Freak’ EP with MEDUZA, and his solo ‘Hyper’ EP, which drew heavyweight support from Anyma, Solomun, and other key selectors across the global circuit. He also dropped a remix of Linska’s “Bad Boy” on REALM, which soared to #1 on the Beatport Melodic House & Techno chart, further cementing his reputation as one of the genre’s most exciting new names.
On stage, GENESI continues to deliver defining moments. 2025 marks his second consecutive year as a core part of MEDUZA and James Hype’s Our House residency at Hï Ibiza, where he’s become a regular fixture in one of the island’s most talked-about nights. Beyond Ibiza, he’s brought his sound to ARC Chicago, direct support for Solomun at Ex Macello during Milan Fashion Week, and a standout set at Seismic Dance Event in the US, with his Coachella 2026 debut already confirmed.
With a sound that blurs genre lines and a trajectory that refuses to slow down, GENESI is carving out a unique space in modern dance music rooted in underground culture, yet resonating on the world’s biggest stages.
Be No Rain first burst onto the scene with his trademark tenor vocals alongside Kas:st, and Tale of Us on their genre-defining anthem, Hold Me To The Light. Soon after, he caught the ears of trance legend Armin Van Buuren, who reached out during the pandemic to collaborate on the haunting and mournful ‘Hollow.’ Colyn remixed Hollow in late 2021, reintroducing melodic house and techno fans to Be No Rain’s distinctive writing and vocal tone.
As lockdowns eased, a new Be No Rain song began making waves across the electronic music world. Night After Night, an earth shattering collaboration with Fideles and Camelphat, quickly made its way into DJ sets the world over. Upon release, Night After Night was greeted as an instant classic, being featured in headline sets and mixes by David Guetta, Tiesto and Tale Of Us, to name a few. It has since gone on to rack up over 50 million cumulative streams.
Be No Rain continued to reach new audiences, this time in Latin America, through his collaboration with the trailblazing Brazilian DJ Vintage Culture and Fideles. Their track Fallen Leaf has become a beloved fixture of Vintage Culture’s enormous stage shows, and has been platinum certified in Brazil.
After signing with Armada Music late this summer the future looks set to be filled with new highs for one of electronic music’s most distinctive voices.
