AMF, the world’s biggest nightclub during Amsterdam Dance Event, just announced the return of their renowned II=I (two is one) concept. This year, KI/KI will - next to her solo set - deliver a unique B2B set with Armin van Buuren during her AMF debut.
September 16, 2025 - AMF has announced the return of its renowned II=I (two is one) concept for ADE 2025. This year, KI/KI and Armin van Buuren will join the stage together in a rare back-to-back performance in the Johan Cruijff Arena. The II=I series was first introduced in 2017 with Hardwell and Armin van Buuren, followed by Timmy Trumpet with W&W in 2019, and Afrojack with Nicky Romero in 2022. Each edition has become a highlight in AMF’s history, bringing two major forces together for a unique collaboration. The full line-up features Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, John Summit, KI/KI, Miss Monique, MORTEN, Oliver Heldens, Sara Landry, and Sub Zero Project, with an exclusive pre-show set by AfroSalto.
KI/KI and Armin van Buuren previously shared the stage for a back-to-back set in an intimate venue, a surprise performance that remains one of the most thrilling and unexpected moments in recent years, leaving fans eager for more on a bigger scale. Their contrasting styles, Armin’s long-standing mastery of uplifting trance and KI/KI’s forward-thinking approach rooted in the underground, creates a performance that feels both fresh and timeless. By reuniting at AMF, the pair are set to revisit that rare chemistry on a far bigger scale, bringing together two different generations of electronic music and two unique visions of the dancefloor. Their II=I performance will be a massive moment for both artists, playing to 40,000 fans for the biggest back-to-back ever in the ArenA during the celebration of 750 years of Amsterdam. It will showcase the diversity of sounds at ADE and cement AMF’s reputation as the place where genre boundaries disappear to create something truly unique.
“What began organically in the Bajes two years ago during ADE now evolves onto the AMF stage. Different place, same unstoppable energy. I can’t wait!” said Armin van Buuren.
KI/KI adds: "This feels like the perfect moment to merge our worlds together again, exactly 2 years later during ADE. I’m very happy to play my debut AMF show both solo and together with Armin at the epic Johan Cruijff ArenA. Get ready this is gonna be madness!!"
Since 2013, AMF has been the biggest event during ADE, with 40.000 visitors and attracting audiences from around the world. By reviving II=I with KI/KI and Armin van Buuren, the festival continues its tradition of creating landmark moments in electronic music.
