Idaly, Massuma & David Mackay Unveil Powerful Rework of Amazin’

A dynamic Afro house collaboration drops today, turning a Dutch favorite into an international club anthem already supported by Keinemusik and Carlita.

Amsterdam  September 26, 2025) – A striking rework of Idaly’s hit single Amazin’ is dropping today on Top Notch, crafted alongside rising Afro house talent Massuma and producer David Mackay. By weaving Idaly’s Dutch vocals with hypnotic percussion and rich electronic textures, the new version transforms a local favorite into a global club anthem.

Tested on some of the world’s most influential dancefloors, Amazin’ has been a highlight of Keinemusik’s summer sets, drawing huge reactions from Barcelona to Mykonos. The collaboration blends Idaly’s signature hook, Massuma’s rhythmic sensibility, David Mackay’s sleek production, resulting in a track that crosses borders while staying true to its roots.

“It’s surreal to see how a track you make in a small studio can suddenly travel the world. When Keinemusik played it, that was a very special moment. David Mackay and Massuma really gave a unique twist to a track that already meant a lot to me. That’s why I’m extra excited to finally share it with the world,” shares Idaly.

“Working on a rework of Idaly's Amazin’ with David was seamless. The reaction has been powerful from the start, proving how a track in Dutch can still connect globally. Having Keinemusik play it in their sets and seeing the crowd response has been a real highlight. David and I have loved seeing how this track has come to life and been loved so heavily,” says Massuma.

“Idaly’s Amazin’ has always been one of my favorite Dutch songs. For me it was all about capturing the energy of that chorus and shaping it into something I could bring to the dancefloor. After sketching the first idea, I texted Sam to join this production, as I had been playing his track Contesto for a while, and wrapped it up quickly. The track has been a steady part of my sets ever since. And when Idaly heard it played in Keinemusik’s set in Amsterdam, making it official was a no-brainer.” - David Mackay

For Idaly, Amazin’ marks an exciting crossover from his established Dutch pop and hip hop roots into the electronic space. For Massuma, the track follows the rapid success of his debut single Contesto, which topped Afro house charts and amassed millions of streams. Completing the trio is David Mackay, one of the scene’s newest talents, whose crisp, melodic production brings a refined, club-ready edge to the record.

With its layered grooves, unmistakable vocal line, and heavy early support, Amazin’ represents a confident step forward for all three artists that bridges cultures and brings a new energy to dancefloors worldwide.

About Idaly

Idaly Faal, known by the name Idaly, is a successful musician, producer, singer, and rapper. As a young boy, he developed a great passion for music during a workshop with artist Adje, which later grew into a true career. This love that Idaly feels for music stems from a pure drive: he experiences it as a form of salvation, but also as his destiny.

This pure and loving way of making music, in which he is not driven by numbers or fame, ensures that Idaly presents a “real” image of himself to his listeners. He shares how he feels through his lyrics and beats, and with his versatility, he manages to reach a very wide audience. Everything comes from his heart: whether it’s a hit like Amazin’ or a track like Staande, in which he shows a more personal side.

Idaly’s versatility as an artist can also be traced back to his roots. He is half Dutch and half Gambian, which makes Afro music inseparably connected to him. In addition to the Afro influences that many find appealing, he also succeeds in reaching true hip-hop lovers with rap lyrics heard on an album like Eerlijk. He does this not only with his voice but also with his talent as a producer. He is part of the music-making process from beginning to end.

About Massuma

Massuma is a London-based DJ and producer making waves in the Afro House scene. Formerly known as Sam Savage, he first built his name as a hip hop DJ, performing alongside artists like A$AP Rocky, Future, and Travis Scott. Now returning with a new musical direction under the Massuma moniker, he blends hypnotic percussion, warm vocal textures, and groove-heavy rhythms into a signature Afro House sound.

His debut single Contesto, a collaboration with DOSAMIS, was released in July 2025 via VOD and quickly gained traction. The track reached over 1 million streams in less than two weeks, hit #2 on the Beatport Afro House chart, and peaked at #6 on the Beatport main chart. It also became the #1 trending audio on Instagram Reels and received early support from Rampa, &ME, Adam Port, Amémé, Carlita, and Shimza.

With a strong start and more music on the way, Massuma is establishing himself as one to watch in global dance music.

About David Mackay

David Mackay is one of the most exciting new names lighting up the melodic afro house scene in 2025. The rising talent from Amsterdam has already earned support from global powerhouses like Keinemusik, Adriatique, Tiesto, and Black Coffee, with a sound that combines emotion, melodies, and atmospheric energy.

David’s musical journey began at just 5 years old when he first touched the piano. His passion quickly evolved into a deep dedication to music production, which he began exploring at age 11. From that point on, he spent countless hours developing his signature melodic style — blending emotion and energy into every track.

His breakout moment came in the summer of 2024 when he made his DJ debut headlining Madrid’s Los Amantes — a venue hailed as one of the world’s afro house capitals. From there, David quickly went worldwide. His early DJ tours took him across events in Africa, North America, South America, Asia, and Europe — a rare feat for an artist so new to the scene.

In 2025, David continued his meteoric rise by releasing more music, including his highly anticipated remix of “Yamore”. With a growing global fanbase and a reputation for delivering outstanding melodic dance music, David is carving out his own lane in the melodic afro house movement — one that’s rooted in his love for music.
