March 12, 2024 – Lost Frequencies, the acclaimed Belgian DJ and producer, has for the second time in his career achieved the remarkable milestone of surpassing one billion streams on Spotify, this time with his breakout hit ‘Are You With Me’. The status, achieved only by a fraction of artists, further solidifies the track’s status as a certified “hit” in electronic dance music.
Originally released in 2014, the dance record, that samples American country singer Easton Corbin’s track of the same name, quickly captured the hearts of dance music lovers worldwide. It soared to a #1 position on Billboard’s Next Big Sound Chart in America, secured a Top 10 position on the charts in the UK, France, Spain and Germany, additionally achieving an incredible Platinum status 6x over in the Netherlands. Testament to its enduring appeal, ‘Are You With Me’ continues to amass thousands of daily streams, solidifying its status as a timeless staple.
This milestone marks not only an achievement for Lost Frequencies but is also a cause for celebration at Armada Music, as it becomes the second track in their extensive catalog to enter the esteemed “Billions Club.” This follows the 2018 hit ‘Body’ by Loud Luxury featuring Brando which surpassed one billion streams in 2023, joining the exclusive group of tracks that have left an indelible mark on the music industry.
Maykel Piron, CEO of Armada Music expressed immense pride, stating, “This achievement stands as a testament to Lost Frequencies’ exceptional talent and ability to make music that will continue to be loved for years to come. At Armada, we are deeply honored to have been a part of Felix’s (Lost Frequencies) journey from the beginning and look forward to celebrating with him!”
