Following up on fan favorites such as ‘Antidote’ and ‘Would You Even Know’, this dynamic and emotionally charged track marks one of Audien’s most empowering singles yet. The deeply touching anthem brings out the best of the DJ and producer’s signature progressive house sound to resonate with fans on an emotional level, and is a devotion to the person you aspire to be better for — to be a ‘Superhero’ for.

“’Superhero’ is a momentous song for me,” says Audien. “It represents everything I've been standing for over the past couple of years — the revival of progressive house. I truly want my fans to feel hopeful — or better yet, uplifted — when they listen to this record. I always try to invoke that feeling with my music, and ‘Superhero’ embodies that perfectly.”

Hot on the heels of his sold-out headline show ‘Stay True Los Angeles’ at The Torch at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, his largest show to date with over 7000 tickets sold, 'Superhero’ is a culmination of Audien’s dedication to the progressive house movement. Now, Audien looks forward to the future of progressive house while paying homage to the sense of nostalgia evoked by the genre, uniting his fiercely dedicated fanbase around his trademark sound.

Known for his production prowess and uplifting melodies, Audien has established himself as an icon in the dance community. A staple in the progressive house genre, he has garnered the support of industry veterans such as Tiësto, Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren through his extensive discography that includes collaborations with the likes of BTS, ARTY, MAX and Echosmith, and official remixes of songs by Coldplay, Halsey, Nile Rodgers, Jess Glynne and Calvin Harris.

About Audien

American DJ, record producer, and musician; GRAMMY-NOMINATED Audien hails from Mystic, Connecticut, where he grew up in a musical household as his mother is a jazz aficionado. In 2008, he was introduced to electronic dance music through trance songs in video game soundtracks. Fascinated by the sound of trance, he learned to recreate songs from Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance radio show.

Following the release of his first single ‘Rise & Shine’ on Ferry Corsten’s Flashover Recordings, Audien continued with a string of releases on Anjunabeats, Armada Music, Spinnin’ Records, and Astralwerks. Audien has since established himself as a fixture in the dance community, known for his production prowess and unique propensity for uplifting melodies.

In 2015, Audien signed to Astralwerks and released his debut EP ‘Daydreams’ featuring standout single ‘Rooms’. That year, he was nominated for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical at the GRAMMY Awards for his remix of Bastille’s ‘Pompeii’. The remix became a global hit, being the most played record of EDC and Coachella that year, and to this day, a tentpole in numerous A-tier DJ sets. Also in 2015, Audien released ‘Insomnia’, which peaked at #1 on the US Dance Charts, and ‘Something Better’ featuring Lady Antebellum, which cracked the Billboard Top #40, marking Audien’s first appearance on a pop chart.

The following years solidified his signature progressive house sound and garnered the support of industry veterans with tracks like ‘Crazy Love’ featuring Deb’s Daughter, ‘One More Weekend’ featuring MAX, and a trap-influenced collaboration during melodic and heavy components with 3LAU titled ‘Hot
Water’. Audien continued a path of global dominance and worked with the likes of Echosmith on ‘Favorite Sound’ and created timeless official remixes of songs by Coldplay, Halsey, Nile Rodgers, Jess Glynne and Calvin Harris.

In September 2017, Audien released his EP ‘Some Ideas’ on Astralwerks. The three-track EP included ‘Rampart’, in collaboration with hardstyle producer Gammer, and ‘Message’, which is reflective of past Anjunabeats releases and familiar Audien tones.

In 2018, Audien returned to Anjunabeats with the release of ‘Higher’, followed by ‘Never Letting Go’ with ARTY later that year. In November 2019, Audien released his LP ‘Escapism’, a definitive effort encapsulating both Audien’s signature style and his dominance in the dance landscape, which included hit songs ‘Reach’ featuring Jamie Hartman and ‘Buzzing’ with Nevve.

Audien is no stranger to hard work and has continued to release music while honing in on his signature sound and style. In 2021, he signed with Armada Music and released three singles that year – one of them being ‘Wish It Was You’ with Cate Downey, which ultimately became the #1 Dance Radio record. Following up in 2022, he released another #1 Dance Radio record, ‘One Last Dance’ featuring Xira.

In 2022, Audien launched the Progressive House Never Died brand. The show debuted at Miami Music Week, then led to a 100% sold-out North American tour, including a stop at Hollywood Palladium. He followed up the tour with two back-to-back records, ‘Drifting Away’ featuring Joe Jury, which reached #2 on Dance Radio charts, and ‘Drifting Away’ featuring Jordan Grace.

Kicking off 2023, he released ‘Antidote’ featuring JT Roach and ‘Would You Even Know’ with William Black featuring Tia Tia. He also sold-out Brooklyn’s Avant Gardner for Progressive House Never Died NYC and played his biggest show to date, ‘Stay True LA’, with over 7000 tickets sold at The Torch at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
